Episode 18: Letting your Knees go past your Toes with Terri Weeks -Show Notes
Terri is back to help me dispel the myth that you shouldn’t let your knees track past your toes during squatting and lunging activities, why this concept matters for curlers, and how to train specifically for the demands of the sport safely.

Some of you have been patiently awaiting news of the Curling Fitness Advent Calendar I had mentioned creating earlier this month.
The bad news is the advent will not run this year.
Why?!
The short answer is I won’t have the time to put together the awesome product that has been bubbling up in my mind. Many of you are also knee deep in your play downs and are worried about adjusting habits and routines so close to competition and I feel you. I am so sorry to those who were excited for a curling specific advent to get them through December!
The good news (#1) is a good friend of mine at Training2xl is putting together a phenomenal fitness and wellness advent calendar. I’ll be hopping on board this year, and I hope you’ll join me! You can purchase the e-book here.
In the meantime, planning for next years holiday calendar is in full swing and I’d love to partner with other curling specific performance providers. If you’ve got a team sponsor, or operate a business yourself and think it would be fun to get your business into next years calendar, send me an email and we’ll get the convo started. I’m also open to ideas you’d love to see in the calendar next year.
Good news #2 … the Holiday Reset is returning and I’m making sure that this FREE product is better than ever. What is it? 4 days between Christmas and New Years I send you a few tips and tricks to make sure you are mentally and physically recharged heading into 2022. The final event?? A big goal setting party on Jan 3rd.
WAITLIST is open. If you want to make sure you get access to the Holiday Reset 3.0 when it is launched, email steph@empoweredperformance.ca (remember, it’s freeeeeee). I’ll be sending more info out shortly.
