Episode 12: Our critique of the Long Term Athlete Development model, and Standardized Testing 150 150 Stephanie Thompson
In this episode Terri Weeks is back to talk about how to get the most out of the Long Term Athlete Development Model (LTAD) as a coach and an athlete. We list several critiques and warn that the model is just that, a theory to provide a framework and should be taken with a grain of salt. Overall the number 1 lesson is that we can use the model as such, but recognize that we have an individual athlete in front of us; with different abilities, goals and potential.    Key resources If you want to work with Terri, or have a question about her research you can email her at weekst_23@live.ca Listen on your favourite streaming service or here:   Work Hard – Hurry Hard – Play Hard
