My goal as a movement therapist is to provide the tools & education necessary for you to experience less pain, and more strength & fitness so that you can play & practice more, perform better, & enjoy your time on the ice better.
As a competition coach with over 15 years of experience, I specialize in helping curling athletes refine their technique and elevate their performance, both in delivery and brushing. Through my virtual coaching sessions, I provide tailored feedback to help you optimize your movement patterns and achieve a more efficient, powerful performance on the ice.

Traditional yoga is not often appropriate, or properly utilized by athletes seeking to improve their flexibility, and ability to relax & recover. Yoga for Curlers recognizes that a yoga practice, or elements of yoga can be a beneficial add to any athletes full-season program.
For those looking to get lower in their slide without risking injury, for balance in their delivery so they can hit the broom & control their weight, for improving your core & upper body strength so that you can be a better brusher, and learn how to manage your nervous system, emotions and breath in life & competition.
We teach from the lens of a Kinesiologist and strength coach, so that your yoga practice builds mobility from a place of stability, educates the athlete about movement efficiency and power production, and provides an opportunity to practice relaxation strategies and breathwork into the athletes season-plan.

At Empowered Performance, we offer specialized training programs designed to elevate your curling performance both on & off the ice. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced athlete, our programs are tailored to guide you through a structured, progressive fitness journey that suits your needs.
Overview
Our curling-specific training programs follow a progressive structure that ensures you develop the essential qualities needed to perform at your best. Each program is designed to help you improve mobility, stability, strength, power, endurance, & recovery.
The programs are divided into blocks, each progressively challenging your body & mind to prepare for the energy demands of a curling athlete.
Choose between multiple programs at $40/month (CDN). 12.5% discount per player for teams (email for discount code).
Custom programs are available for $65/month (CDN). 15% discount per player for teams (fill in this form for custom program requests).

My passion for movement and helping others led me to earn degrees in kinesiology & education. My unique understanding of both body mechanics off the ice & the technical aspects of curling allows me to offer a program that’s both effective & specific to the sport.

- Includes 6 workouts per week, focusing on strength, power, mobility, & cardio for curling.

- A flexible, minimal-equipment program designed for home or gym, with a focus on building strength, power, & endurance.
